| Accountability | Good Boy Dogs does not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, timely or error free, although it is provided to the best ability. By using these services, you thereby indemnify Good Boy Dogs, its owners, its employees, agents and affiliates for any losses or damages, in whatever manner, howsoever caused. |
| Payment | Payment is due at the start of services. All payments and deposits are non-refundable. Payment can be made by paying cash, or e-transfer. Please be advised Good Boy Dogs reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if overdue balances persist. |
| Cancellations | Cancellation notification is to be made at least 24 hours prior to service for walks and visits. A full-service charge will be required for cancellations made on service days. If we arrive at your home for dog walking and your dog is not available or we are unable to gain access to your home during a scheduled walk, you will be fully charged for dog walking services. Cancellations for boarding will forfeit your non-refundable deposit. |
| Two Hour Window | Our dog walking times include the time entering and leaving your home. Please allow a two-hour window of time for us to arrive at your home. This window may be changed without notice. |
| Extreme Weather | If there are weather advisories or strong storms with thunder and lightning, your dog may not be walked. In the most extreme case for a service cancellation, you will be notified by phone or email. We will do our best to have your dog outside long enough to relieve themselves. |
| Emergency Care | In the event that something should happen to your dog that requires medical attention, we will do everything possible to obtain the right treatment for your dog in a timely manner. If we are unable to reach you for whatever reason, we reserve the right to make medical decisions on your behalf for the care of your dog. You will be responsible for any costs incurred. |
| Pet Health, Behavior and Safety | We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet for any reason including, without limitation, if it appears that the pet is sick, injured, in pain, or that its behavior could jeopardize the health and safety of other pets or our staff. If at any time your pet is found to have fleas or ticks, we may terminate services until the problem is resolved so as not to transfer parasites to other clients. For safety reasons, if at any time your walker feels that the apparatus used to walk your dog with is unsafe or not secure enough, we will provide alternative gear to walk your dog. |
| Dog Licensing | Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 349, requires that all dogs owned in Toronto be licensed and wearing a tag. By licensing your dog, Animal Services will make every effort to reunite you with your pet. |
| Force Majeure | Neither party shall be liable to the other for any failure to perform any obligation under any Agreement which is due to an event beyond the control of such party including but not limited to any Act of God, terrorism, war, Political insurgence, insurrection, riot, civil unrest, act of civil or military authority, uprising, earthquake, flood or any other natural or man made eventuality outside of our control, which causes the termination of an agreement or contract entered into, nor which could have been reasonably foreseen. Any Party affected by such event shall forthwith inform the other Party of the same and shall use all reasonable endeavours to comply with the terms and conditions of any Agreement contained herein. |
